Mom Style: Leggings Like LuLaRoe

So, somewhere along the line I lost the battle against wearing leggings. I know, I know, I’m really late to the party. But I bought a pair of second-hand LuLaRoe leggings because I thought I’d give them a try. Turns out, these things are my new favorite comfy clothes. The problem is, I am not about to pay $25 + shipping every time I want a leggings fix. Especially since I’m now trying to figure out how to get away with wearing them 24/7. So, I did some internet searching and found leggings like LuLaRoe, without the price tag.

I’ve bought two pairs of these Viv plus size leggings, in black and grey, and at $12.99 each plus Prime shipping, they weren’t a bad deal at all. Viv also makes a non-plus size version of the same leggings that come in similar patterns and solids. Now, you aren’t going to get the wide variety of interesting prints that you can get with LuLaRoe leggings. But I’m not generally a crazy print person to start with so I find these a bit more wearable. They are every bit as soft and comfy in my opinion, although the waist band is not as wide on the Viv leggings. The LuLaRoe have a yoga style waist while these are just regular elastic.

I’ve been wearing them with my new favorite shirts, these MBJ long sleeve tunics. Which are also super comfy. You do need to really check the sizing chart though, I had to go up a size to get a comfortable fit. The best part about the combination is that I feel put together even though I might as well be wearing PJs for how comfy I feel. Generally, my around the house clothes are the ones that are too stained or sad looking to be regular clothes any more.

Now that I’ve fallen down the comfy-clothes rabbit hole, can anyone recommend some other good brands of leggings like LuLaRoe?
